Sustainability is one of the most influential factors in the purchasing decision today . Brands are beginning to be aware of the importance of a green corporate ethic and the need to communicate such values to their audience in the face of a growing collective environmental awareness. According to the report “Importance of packaging in the delivery of orders in e-commerce”, by AECOC Shopperview, 30% of consumers would be willing to pay more for sustainable packaging in their online purchases. The study reflects a general interest in applying sustainable means in the distribution process of commercial products. In fact, packaging is an essential element in the shopping experience for 41.4% of consumers and changes the perception of a brand for 49%.
